Eligibility Criteria

• Open to people from all countries, and also Cannot have Japanese citizenship when applying.
• Undergraduate applicants must finish 12 years of school or equivalent (can apply before graduating).
• Must be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic ties with Japan.
• Japanese study applicants must be 18 to 30 years old.
• Master’s or PhD applicants need a college degree (can apply before graduating).
• Teacher training applicants need 5+ years of teaching experience in schools or teacher colleges in their home country.
