Who Can Apply

• Must have an offer to study in one of these ECU research programs:
  • PhD
  • Integrated PhD
  • Master by Research
• If your course application is still being processed you may get a conditional scholarship offer.

Who Cannot Apply

• Received an AusAID or Australia Award scholarship in the last 2 years.
• PhD starts after 1 December 2025.
• No approval from a main supervisor for your research.
• Earn more than AUD 26250 per year (unless the income is not for research or living costs).
• Master by Research starts after Semester 2 2025.
