Bloomberg Fellowship 2026 in New York City (Fully Funded)
The Bloomberg Fellowship 2026 is now open for university students in the United States and international students studying there. This fully funded program runs from 18 to 22 May 2026 at Bloomberg Headquarters in New York City. It covers round trip travel, housing and meals. The fellowship teaches students how journalists report on the economy, companies, markets, government and labor. Participants will gain skills in business journalism practice reporting with Bloomberg experts and learn why diversity in media matters. The deadline to apply is 28 February 2026.

About the Bloomberg Fellowship
Bloomberg runs this fellowship with UNC Hussman School of Journalism to teach students about business reporting. You learn key skills like understanding markets, writing stories and covering finance. The program is short but strong with real journalists as teachers. You practice reporting and see how news is made. It helps students from different backgrounds enter journalism, especially business news. Past fellows got jobs or better internships after.

Eligibility Criteria
You can apply if you meet these conditions:
- You are a current university student interested in journalism.
- You are a rising junior or senior (meaning you’ll be starting your 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies).
- You are not currently studying business or financial journalism.
- International students who are studying full-time at a U.S. university are also eligible to apply.
- Students from all different backgrounds and life experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.
