Applications for the Central European University Scholarships 2026 are now available. The CEU Scholarships in Hungary give international students full funding for Master’s and PhD programs plus tuition help for Bachelor’s. You can study in many fields like political science, data science, mathematics, history, gender studies, public policy, economics and more. All classes are in English. The university does not charge an application fee. You do not need IELTS or TOEFL if you show your previous studies were in English. Applications close on 15 July 2026. About the Central European University Scholarships
CEU is a private research university in Budapest Hungary. It ranks high in politics and philosophy worldwide. The school has more than 50 programs in 17 departments. Most Master’s and PhD programs are in English. The scholarships help good students study without money problems. You join a small international group and learn from top teachers. Scholarship Benefits
You get strong support.
For Master’s and PhD:
- Up to 100 percent tuition fee paid.
- Monthly stipend: €1,000 (Excellence) €750 (Distinction) or €500 (standard).
- Health insurance.

For Bachelor’s:
- Two Presidential Awards of €5,000 total each.
- Year 1: €500

- You can be from any country because the scholarship is available for international students.
- For Bachelor’s you need high school certificate.
- For Master’s you need Bachelor’s degree.
- For PhD you need Master’s degree.

- You must show English skills (no test needed if your last degree was in English).
