The Job Seeker South Korea Lucky Draw 2026 (also called EPS Lucky Draw or Ballot) is the official random selection run by Pakistan’s Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) to pick candidates for the Employment Permit System (EPS) under South Korea’s E-9 non-professional work visa. Because many more Pakistanis apply than there are test slots, OEC holds a computerised lottery among pre-registered people. Only winners can take the EPS-TOPIK Korean language test and move forward. This is a government-to-government program — no agents or middlemen are allowed. The 2026 quota for all E-9 workers from 16 countries is cut to 80,000 (down from 130,000 in 2025), so the draw is more competitive than before.

What is the South Korea Job Seeker Lucky Draw 2026?

South Korea has labour shortages in hard jobs (dirty, dangerous, difficult). The EPS program fills these with foreign workers from countries like Pakistan. The Lucky Draw is the first step. OEC lets people pre-register for a small fee. Then they run a random lottery to choose who can take the Korean language test. Winners go on the roster where Korean employers pick them for jobs. It is legal, low-cost and safe — no agents needed. Many Pakistanis earn good money and send remittances home.
