The STAR Scholarship 2026 at the University of Brescia in Italy is a fully funded 4-year program for international students from developing countries. What is the STAR Scholarship 2026?

The STAR Scholarship helps talented students from developing countries study in Italy. You do a 1-year Foundation Year with 600 hours of Italian language and academic courses. After you pass, you go straight into a 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Italian. The program is for people who need preparation before university. It is very selective with only two spots. It is good for students who want to study in Europe and build skills for future jobs.

Eligibility Criteria

• You must be from a developing or priority cooperation country.
• You need a high school diploma after 12 years of school.
• You must be born in 2000 or later.
• The diploma must allow university entry in your country.
• It must be from a non-EU system.
• You must not have an undergraduate degree yet.
• You need Italian language at CEFR A1 level.
• Final-year high school students can apply if they finish by July 2026.
