Applications for the NPU President Scholarship program are now available for 2026. The scholarship at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in China is available for international students for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees. There are three levels of the scholarship. Scholarship Benefits

• Monthly Stipends:
  • Undergraduate: 1500 RMB
  • Master’s: 2000 RMB
  • PhD: 3500 RMB
• First Level: Covers full tuition fees, free accommodation, and a monthly stipend for living expenses
• Second Level: Tuition fees fully covered
• Third Level: 50% off tuition fees

Eligibility Criteria

• Foreign students: Must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports
• Health: Need to be in good physical and mental health, free of infectious diseases
• Academic Performance: At least 75 percent average score, NPU accepts A-Level, AP, SAT, ACT, IB, GED, GRE, GMAT, IGCSE, and WAEC scores.
• Language Proficiency: Must meet NPU’s Chinese or English language requirements
• Nationality: Open to non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, those with previous Chinese citizenship need additional documents
• Undergraduate: High school diploma needed, under 25 years old by September 1, 2026
