Scholarship Benefits
Our scholarships for full-time candidates are for a period of 4 years and cover:
- UK home tuition fees
- Enhanced supplement of £4,000 per year
- Tax-free maintenance payment of £20,780 per year from 1st October 2026
- Additional funding for

- May be available for doctoral students
Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Open to international students
- Strong interest in AI for digital media inclusion
- Proven ability to work well in teams
- Full award for UKRI-funded doctoral students, including stipend and home-level tuition fees
- Incomplete applications or late applications will not be accepted.

Selection Process
- We choose PhD students based on academic excellence, interest in AI for digital media inclusion, and teamwork ability.
- Students will be placed in projects based on specific challenge areas.
