Croatian Government Scholarships 2026–27 for BS, MS, PhD (Fully Funded)
The Croatian Government Scholarships 2026–27 in Europe give international students full or partial funding to study in Croatia. You can apply for short Croatian language courses 1 semester partial or full Bachelor, Master studies, PhD programs, research stays or postdoctoral visits. It covers tuition full or part, monthly stipend 300 EUR for undergraduate or graduate students and 320 EUR for PhD or 480 EUR for postdoc, cheap student housing low cost meals at student restaurants, health insurance and cultural events. Two application pools exist Pool 1 bilateral agreements with specific countries and Pool 2 open to Slavic or Croatian language students from anywhere. Applications are open now and close on 10 April 2026.

What are the Croatian Government Scholarships 2026-27?
The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of Croatia funds these scholarships through the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes. They support academic exchange Croatian language and culture and cooperation with other countries. Pool 1 is for citizens of countries with bilateral agreements. Pool 2 is open to students of Slavic studies or Croatian language or literature from anywhere. You study at Croatian universities or research institutes. It is good for people who want to learn Croatian do short or long studies or research in any field.

Types of Scholarships
Pool 1 (bilateral agreements):
- A1: 4–5 months Croatian language course.
- A2: Partial studies (1 semester or 4–10 months).
- B: Full Bachelor’s or Master’s (24–36 months).
- C1: Full PhD (36 months).
- C2: Partial PhD or research (1–10 months).
- D: Postdoc/research (1–10 months).
- E: Short postdoc visits (3–29 days).
- F: 2-week summer seminar on Croatian language/literature.
Pool 2 (Croatian language/Slavic studies):
- A1: 4–5 months Croatian language course.
- F: 2-week summer seminar on Croatian language/literature.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a citizen of a country with a bilateral agreement (Pool 1) or study Slavic/Croatian language/literature (Pool 2).
- Age limits: Under 30 for Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD, no limit for postdoc/language courses.
- You need good grades from previous studies.
- You need Croatian (B1 minimum for language courses) or English proficiency (depending on program).
- You must meet admission rules of your Croatian university or institute.
