Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Scholarships
- Strong Academic Performance Despite Low Marks
- Consistently good grades even if Class XII board results are low.
- Requires a school recommendation (Form B).
- Good Character and Behavior
- Recognized as honest, responsible, and well-mannered.
- Requires a school recommendation (Form B).
- Family Hardship
- Must be orphaned, semi-orphaned, or from a financially struggling family, verified by the Tibetan Settlement Officer with Form A.
Additional Requirements for UG Applicants
- A valid Green Book (GB) with contributions up to date as of 31 March 2024 (for both the student and parents/guardians).
- Must hold a valid Registration Certificate (RC).
- For applicants residing in Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Nepal, Bhutan, or Gangtok, a refugee status recommendation from the Tibetan Settlement Officer is mandatory.
- Must not be receiving any other scholarship.
- Any gap years must be properly explained in the application.
Postgraduate Scholarships
- Must have received this scholarship during undergraduate studies.
- Must submit full undergraduate academic records and certificates.
- All core documents (Green Book, RC, etc.) are still required.
