About IMSOGLO Program
IMSOGLO (Innovative Soil Science for Global Change) is an Erasmus Mundus joint master’s program. You will study in different European universities and specialize in soil science in the context of global change.
You will take classes, do lab work, research, and write a master thesis in one of the participating universities. You spend semesters in different partner universities to gain broad experience.

When you win the IMSOGLO Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, you will get:
- Full tuition fees paid

You do not pay the “programme participation cost” for master’s if you have the scholarship.

- Aarhus University, Denmark
Study Path:
- 1st Semester: Start at Ghent University
- 2nd & 3rd Semesters: Choose specialization route
- Specialization in Austria & Germany route
- Or route via Belgium & Denmark
- 4th Semester: Focus on master thesis
You get double degree from two institutions where you study.

Eligibility Criteria
You may apply if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or are in final year)
- Have a strong academic record in natural or applied sciences (biology, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, etc.)
- Meet English language requirements
- Are willing to study in multiple countries
- Nationality does not matter — open worldwide
Special rule: for EEA (European Economic Area) students, you may apply if you are finishing your bachelor’s by 28 Feb 2026 (with proof).

- Fill in the online application form
- Select your preferred study track and universities

Scholarship holders are exempted from programme participation cost.
Selection & Appeal
- Selection is done by the IMSOGLO Student Selection Group from all partner universities
- They rank candidates by academic records, CV, and motivation
- Results are announced by end of April 2026
