Fulbright Foreign Student Program for Mozambican Students 2027–2028 Scholarships (Fully Funded)
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program 2027–2028 in the United States is a fully funded scholarship for Mozambican students to pursue Master’s, PhD or non-degree research programs starting August 2027. It covers full tuition, monthly living allowance, books, health insurance, round-trip airfare, visa fees and more so you can focus on studies. You can study in any field with priority for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Disease Prevention, Health Digitization, STEM Conflict Negotiation, Supply Chain Management and Trade. What is the Fulbright Foreign Student Program 2027–2028?
The Fulbright program is run by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Maputo. It helps talented Mozambican students study in the USA and become leaders in their fields. You get to study at good universities and work on research that helps Mozambique. You must return home after to use your skills. It is for Master’s, PhD or short research stays. If your English needs work you can get funded language training first.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a Mozambican citizen or permanent resident with a valid passport.
- You need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4 years university study).
- Final-year students can apply but must finish degree by August 2026.
- You must show leadership and want to return home after study.
- You cannot be previous Fulbright student or Humphrey fellow (FLTA alumni ok).
- You cannot work for U.S. Department of State.
- You should have limited recent U.S. study experience.
