Applications for the InteRussia Fellowship Program 2026 are now available. It is a six-week fully funded research stay at MGIMO University in Moscow, Russia for young international experts in international relations, political science or area studies. The theme for 2026 is Security Science and Technology Governance of Change in the Turbulent World. You get airfare to Moscow, free accommodation, a RUB 45,000 monthly stipend, visa help and visits to policy places, think tanks and universities. It runs from March 16 to April 26 2026. Open to non-Russian citizens aged 25 to 39 with PhD or three years work in research.

About the InteRussia Fellowship

MGIMO University is a top school in Russia for international relations. The InteRussia program brings young researchers from other countries to do research in Moscow. You work on your project, join talks and meet experts. The 2026 theme is how security science and tech change in a hard world. You visit government offices, think tanks and NGOs. Eligibility Criteria

  • Work in international relations political science or area studies.
