Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be ready to start their master’s program in Ireland no earlier than August 2026.
  • Open only to residents and nationals of Vietnam, Cambodia or Lao PDR.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA out of 4.0 earned in 2014 or later from an accredited institution.
  • Need at least 2 years of relevant work experience for Vietnam applicants or 3 years for Cambodia and Lao PDR applicants.
  • Cannot already have or be working toward a master’s degree or higher during the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Must choose three eligible programs that match their education and career background.
  • Should prove English proficiency and understand the academic needs of their chosen programs.
  • Applicants may only apply to the Ireland Fellows Programme once.
  • Must display leadership skills a focus on sustainable development goals and a desire to connect with Ireland.
  • Must be prepared to begin the fellowship in the 2026/2027 academic year.
