The KAUST Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) Internship 2026 is a fully funded 3 to 6 month research internship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. It is open to international undergraduate and master’s students who want to work on real research projects in labs. You can choose your start and end dates any time in the year. KAUST pays $1000 monthly stipend, private room, return airfare, meals, lab access and social activities. There is no application fee and no IELTS needed if you show English skills another way. Eligibility Criteria
Here are the basic requirements to apply:
- Students from any country can apply.
- Master’s students must currently be enrolled in a Master’s program.
- Undergraduate students must be in their 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum GPA required:
- 3.5 out of 4.0, OR
- 14 out of 20 (ECTS B)
English Requirement
English proof may be requested during evaluation:
- TOEFL iBT: 79 or higher
- IELTS: 6.5 or higher
