Fully Funded MacDowell Fellowship 2026 in USA

The MacDowell Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications from artists worldwide. This fully funded residency program gives creative people time, space and money support to focus on their work. Each year MacDowell picks about 300 artists based only on artistic skill. Fellows live and work at the MacDowell campus where they get private studios, community time and freedom to create without distraction. The fellowship covers residency costs, gives need based stipends and offers travel grants. Applications for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 close on 10 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• You can be from any country means it is available for international applicants.
• You need to show strong artistic work.
• It is open to emerging and established artists.
• You need good samples of your art or writing.
• You should have a clear project to do during residency.

Fellowship Dates / Deadline

Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 cycle: Deadline is 10 February 2026. Spring and Summer 2027 cycle opens 15 August 2026 closes 10 September 2026. Residencies start September 2026 onward.
