Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2026 | Fully Funded Study in Malaysia
The Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2026 is a fully funded program by the Malaysian Government for international students to study Master’s or PhD in Malaysia. It pays full tuition, monthly living allowance of RM 1,500 and other costs so you can study at top universities without paying tuition. You can apply without IELTS if your previous degree was in English. The scholarship is open to citizens of many countries including ASEAN Commonwealth nations and others like Afghanistan, China, Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia and more. What is the Malaysian International Scholarship 2026?
MIS is run by the Ministry of Higher Education in Malaysia. It helps talented students from many countries study Master’s or PhD at top public and private universities. You choose programs in education, arts, social sciences, business, natural sciences, IT engineering, agriculture, health and more (no medicine, nursing or pharmacy). The scholarship supports students who want to gain skills and return home to help their countries. You study in English at good schools and live in a safe affordable country.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries.
- You need to apply for full-time Master’s or PhD.
- For Master’s you must be no older than 40 years.
- For PhD you must be no older than 45 years.
- You need good grades from your previous degree.
- No IELTS needed if your last degree was taught in English.
- You do not need acceptance letter to apply.
- You should show interest in research or studies that help development.
