Students from economically weaker and backward communities who applied for the Medhasoft Student List can now check their names on the official portal. Students whose names are on the list will be eligible to receive a scholarship amount of ₹10,000, provided they have passed the 10th grade and belong to a backward community. What is the Medhasoft Scholarship?
The Medhasoft Scholarship was introduced by the Backward Community Welfare Department of Bihar for students who have passed the 10th grade. Only those students are eligible for the Medhsoft scholarship that must have a family income of less than or equal to ₹1.5 lakh per annum. Priority is given to students from SC or ST communities, as well as female candidates. Selected students will receive a scholarship worth between ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 for the duration of their course.

- Visit the Medhasoft Student Website (medhasoft.bih.nic.in) of Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana.
- On the homepage, click on the “Students Login” option.
- Enter your login credentials and then click on the “Students List” option.
- A new page will open on your screen. Enter the following details:

- Click on the “View” option.
- The names of all selected candidates will appear on your screen, sorted by district.
