Applications for the Nordic Africa Institute African Scholarship Programme 2027 are now available. It gives early-career researchers based in Africa two to three months to do research at the institute in Uppsala, Sweden. You get return airfare, accommodation, daily allowance of 450 SEK (about 50 USD) and a setup grant of 2,500 SEK (about 280 USD). The program supports PhD students and postdocs in social sciences or humanities who work on Africa topics like gender, society development or UN Agenda 2030 goals. About the Nordic Africa Institute African Scholarship Programme

Eligibility Criteria
- You must live and work in Africa.
- For PhD you need to be enrolled in an African doctoral program and work full-time at an African university or research center with no international PhD funding.
- Your research should be on Africa in social sciences or humanities.
- For postdoc you need PhD finished in the last four years and a job at an African university or research center.
- You need good English to join talks.
- You must stay the full time and join activities.
- You should like gender topics or UN Agenda 2030.
Required Documents

- Research proposal max 5 pages (introduction, aims, literature, methods and impact).
- For PhD: Letter from supervisor or head confirming enrollment and job.
- For postdoc: Letter from head confirming your position.
- Work plan 1 page (goals and results during stay).
