Eligibility for the Truist Foundation Fellowship
The Fellowship is available to:
- Social entrepreneurs with 1 to 5 years of experience
- Applicants who demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset
- Individuals committed to job creation and economic development in underserved and underbanked areas
Program Format
- In-Person Immersive: A 1-day immersive experience in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 8th, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM ET.
- Weekly Virtual Workshops: Held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM ET, with localized gatherings and events whenever possible.
- Community Development Stipend: Provides Fellows with funds to lead community events, foster collaboration, and support initiatives that drive collective growth. This stipend can be used for workshops, networking events, and collaborative projects.
- Basecamp: A 1-3 day Impact Workshop led by each Fellow in their community to showcase ventures, gather feedback, and expand networks. Basecamps offer hands-on experiences in social impact through entrepreneurship.
- In-Person Summit: A culminating pitch and networking event in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 12th, 2025, at 6 PM ET.
Venture Stage
This Fellowship is for entrepreneurs who have successfully launched their products, made sales, and had a positive impact on their communities. You are past the early testing phase and are now at a crucial point of growing your business, but not yet ready for large-scale expansion.
Commitment
This 16-week program demands full dedication, including a one-day in-person Immersive session. We seek individuals who are excited to actively participate in all aspects of the program and contribute to a strong community. Your enthusiasm and willingness to engage and share are essential for the program’s success.
