Eligibility Criteria
- You must do your research at UBC and live on campus.
- Only short research trips are allowed.
- Your PhD must be finished within 2 years before the fellowship starts.
- They count when you finished your PhD not when you graduated.
- Open to all nationalities but you must meet Canada’s visa rules.
- You can’t have done your PhD at any UBC campus.
- Full-time professors can’t apply but temporary teachers can.
- You need strong skills and good character.
- If you had breaks (like for sickness or kids) you might get 1 extra year.
- Current UBC researchers must explain why they should stay.
- You must show you can do important research or become a leader in your field.
