The Ocean Leaders Fellowship OLF 2026 is now open for applications. This fully funded program is for young leaders from around the world who care about ocean conservation and climate action. The fellowship lasts 8 months and includes a 12 day trip to Kenya from 9 to 19 June 2026. A total of 40 fellows will be picked to join a world leadership institute focused on the 30×30 plan. This plan aims to protect 30 percent of the planets land and oceans by 2030. All costs including visa, travel, housing and food are paid.

About the Ocean Leaders Fellowship

This fellowship helps young leaders push for ocean protection. It is run by experts who want more Marine Protected Areas around the world. You join online sessions for eight months to learn policy planning and action. Then you meet in Kenya for 12 days of workshops talks and field visits. The focus is 30×30 which means save 30 percent of oceans and land by 2030. You work with others from different countries and build skills to make change in your home place.

Eligibility Criteria

You must be at least 18 years old now. You must be no older than 35 by June 20 2026. You need strong English at C1 level so you can talk and work well. You should show leadership or good potential in ocean conservation climate action or environment policy. You can be from any country. You must want to help with 30×30 goals.

Important Dates / Deadline
