The FIAS Fellowship Program 2026 in France is now open for applications from researchers and scholars of all nationalities. Up to 28 fully funded fellowships will be given covering all key costs such as relocation, housing, round-trip, flights, a monthly stipend and other benefits. The program is run by the French Institutes for Advanced Study and lasts for 10 months. It offers a chance to work on cutting-edge research projects with seven leading French research institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to scholars worldwide – all nationalities welcome.
- PhD is mandatory (must already be completed when applying).
- Candidates should have spent no more than one year in France within the last 36 months before applying.
- At least 2 years of professional research experience after finishing PhD.
- Both junior and senior researchers may apply.
- Your PhD research period doesn’t count toward experience requirement.
