Copenhagen Fellowship 2026 in Denmark (Fully Funded)
The Copenhagen Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded two-and-a-half-week program in Copenhagen, Denmark for applicants who care about democracy and human rights. It runs in person from June 16 to July 2, 2026 with a virtual kickoff on May 27, 2026 and a homecoming day on September 24, 2026. You get all costs paid including travel, accommodation and meals. Twenty-four fellows from different countries join lectures, workshops, site visits and build Action Projects to do back home. The 2026 focus is on defending democracy and rights in a changing world with special look at the Arctic and Greenland. Applications close on 1 March 2026 at midnight. About the Copenhagen Fellowship
The Copenhagen Fellowship brings together young people who want to protect democracy and human rights. It is run by experts and gives you time to learn from lectures, discussions and visits. You work on your own Action Project to make change in your community after the program. You meet fellows from many countries and get support from 3200 senior fellows. The program helps you understand big issues like climate inequality and politics. It is free so anyone with passion can join.

Eligibility Criteria
To join this program you need to meet these requirements:
1. You are currently studying at a college or university in
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Denmark
- Germany
- Poland
- The Netherlands
2. OR you graduated from a college or university in one of those countries within the last two years
3. OR you are a citizen of one of those countries and you are either
- Currently studying at a university anywhere in the world OR
- You graduated from a university anywhere in the world within the last two years
English Requirement
- All programs are taught in English so you must be able to speak and understand English well to join.
Required Documents
- You fill online form.
- You need personal statement of max 500 words.
- You need a 90-second video about your Action Project idea.
- You need CV without photo.
- You need contact for one reference (mentor or teacher).
