Applications for the Gulu University Scholarship 2025-2026 are now available. Gulu University and the Mastercard Foundation have started the TAGDev 2.0 Scholarship Programme. Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply:

- Must come from a poor background
- People from conflict areas in Africa living in Uganda can apply
Admission Rules:
- Must qualify for Gulu University programs (undergraduate or postgraduate).
- Must meet all admission rules for the chosen program.
Current Scholarships:
- Students with other scholarships cannot apply.
- If found with two scholarships you will be disqualified.
Past Scholarship Winners:
- People who got TAGDev scholarships before cannot apply.

Selection Criteria
- Must show leadership skills and potential.
- Must want to work in farming or related fields.
- Must be poor or from marginalized areas in Uganda.
- Must have finished secondary school or have a diploma for Bachelor’s degree (applied within last 2 years).
- Must meet Gulu University admission rules for the program.
- Must show interest in farming, agribusiness, and business skills.
- Women are encouraged to apply to support gender equality.
- Must care about helping their community.
- Refugees or displaced persons must have finished previous studies within last 4 years.
- Must be from Uganda or East African countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan.
- People from conflict areas in Uganda can apply.
- Under 35 years old for master’s programs when applying.
- Under 30 years old for undergraduate programs.
