Applications for the IGAD Internship Program 2025 are now available. IGAD is looking for young leaders to join a three-month internship program in its member states. This internship offers real experience in project support and gender work. It also helps build teamwork and leadership skills for young professionals. Interns must be from IGAD countries. They should have a bachelor’s degree or be studying for a master’s. Interns will work at IGAD offices in their home countries but may travel in the region. They will learn practical skills with help from Project Managers.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be from an IGAD Member State.
- Age: Between 21 and 27 years old when the internship starts.
- Education:
- Must have at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Or be currently studying for a master’s degree and plan to go back to school after the internship.
- Work Experience: Less than two years of work experience after finishing their latest degree.
- Language Proficiency: Must speak English fluently (Knowing French is a bonus).
- Skills:
- Able to work well in diverse international settings.
- Good at communicating.
- Comfortable using basic computer programs.
