Latvia Government Scholarships 2026 (Fully Funded)
Applications for the Latvia Government Scholarships 2026 are now available. It give international students from selected countries full or partial funding to study Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Latvia. Applicants can get fully funded and partially funded support from the Latvia Government for one or two semesters. This program is for students, researchers and teachers who want to study or do research at Latvian universities. It helps build links between Latvia and other countries. Applications close on 1 April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is for international students, researchers, and teachers from eligible countries.
You can apply if:
- You are a Bachelor’s student who has finished at least one full year of studies at a university or college.
- You are a Master’s or PhD student from any higher education institution.
The Most Important Step
Before you can apply for the scholarship, you must:
- Choose a study program at a university in Latvia.
- Get a confirmation letter from that Latvian university for your chosen program.
- If you are already studying in Latvia, you still need this letter for your current or a new program.
- The letter must be issued and signed by the official contact person (like a coordinator) at the university.
One Key Rule to Remember
A foreign student can receive the Latvian state scholarship for a maximum of two semesters (one academic year) during their studies.
