The University of Paris Saclay Scholarship 2026 is now open for international students who want a Master program in France. Paid by IDEX this scholarship is fully funded. It covers €10000 each year for living costs plus €1000 for travel and visa expenses. The scholarship lasts 1 or 2 years based on program length. It is only for new international students accepted to Paris Saclay University. Students already in French universities cannot apply. The deadline is 16 March 2026.

About the University of Paris Saclay Scholarship

Université Paris-Saclay is a big research school near Paris. It has strong programs in science, engineering, math, physics, biology and more. The scholarship comes from IDEX funds to attract good international students. You study in English or French programs. You must be new to France and under 31 years old in the selection year. Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

You can apply for this scholarship if you meet these conditions:

  • It is open to international students.
  • It must be your first time studying in France.
  • You must be 30 years old or younger in the year you are chosen for the scholarship.
  • You must have already been accepted into a Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay.
  • You cannot apply if you have had a break in your studies of more than 3 years.
  • You should have good grades (strong academic results).

How Are Students Selected?

The selection works in two steps:

Step 2: Only students who receive a special email invitation from Université Paris-Saclay will be able to apply for the IDEX scholarship. You cannot apply for it unless you get this invitation.

Step 1: You must first apply and be admitted to a Master’s program at the university.

Important: Getting admitted does not mean you automatically get the scholarship.

Required Documents

First you apply for Master’s admission. You need degree certificates and transcripts. You also need English or French test if asked. You need CV, a motivation letter and recommendation letters. If invited for scholarship you get extra form from email.

Scholarship Dates / Deadline

Master’s applications open in late 2025. Scholarship invitation deadline is March 16, 2026. Results come in spring 2026. Studies start September 2026. Apply for admission early.

  3. Wait for email invitation from the university.
  4. If invited fill the scholarship form they send.
