Scholarship Benefits

The MAECI Scholarship provides the following benefits:

  • Tuition Fee Waiver: Students do not need to pay enrollment or tuition fees.
  • Health Insurance: The scholarship includes medical and accident insurance during the study period.

Stipend

Students will receive a total allowance of €10,800, paid in three parts:

  1. First payment: €5,500
  2. Second payment: €2,300
  3. Final payment: €3,000

This money helps cover living expenses while studying in Italy.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Foreign students living outside Italy
  • Italian citizens living abroad (IRE – only from certain countries)

Language Skills

  • Most programs need Italian or English (minimum B2 level).
  • For Italian language courses, at least A2 level is required.
  • Some applicants may skip this (e.g., those who studied in Italian schools abroad or from English-speaking countries).
