OHCHR-EAA Benefits
This program provides comprehensive financial support, including round-trip airfare to and from Geneva as well as complimentary accommodation during the stay in Geneva
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications from diverse geographical, ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds are highly encouraged
- Open to applicants from all regions
- Commitment to attend five full days of in-person training and activities at the academy is required
- Particularly welcome are young individuals who have experienced conflict or insecurity, especially those with limited exposure to UN and global platforms
- A minimum of two years’ experience in advocating for human rights, including youth rights, at any level—local, national, regional, or international
- Age range: 18-30 years old (as of July 7, 2025)
- Proficiency in English is essential, as the academy will be conducted solely in English
- Submission of a reference letter is mandatory
